An Arthur Hills design, Palencia's championship golf course meanders through hardwood forests and along marshland preserves for beautiful scenery and topography. Hole three, called "Leaning Tree," features a mature live oak whose main trunk reaches across the fairway and into the line of play.

The Intracoastal serves as a stunning backdrop for greens six and sixteen. Strategic shot making is rewarded throughout the course, especially on the four unique and demanding par fives, including the ninth and eighteenth holes.

The 7,100-yard layout respects the beauty and fragility of the natural environment and shares the landscape with the many native and migratory species. It is difficult to perceive where the golf course ends and nature begins.

Palencia's course is designed with golfers of all abilities in mind. Whether you're practicing new techniques, working on a handicap, or just seeking occasional swing advice, the Club is equipped with a first-class teaching facility. It includes a driving range with a separate teaching tee and target greens plus a short game area with multiple bunkers. We are sure you will love your National Golf School experience at Palencia.

• Our classes are never more than 4 students per PGA Pro for your morning session at the practice stations and never more than 3 students per PGA Pro for your afternoon playing lesson.

Many have been former Tour Pros, Head Professionals, Teaching Professionals, and Directors of Instruction who were chosen by us for their passion to help others. • This is a wonderful place to attend your National Golf Schools vacation. The course is located within easy access to Palm Beach International Airport, the beaches, and of course the shopping in Palm Beach. Since the on site lodge is very popular and often booked in advance, we have another great Hotel a short distance away that we really like. It's called the Gulfstream Hotel and it's one of the most popular Historic Hotels in the Palm Beach area. It's a true classic and we offer it at the same price as the on site lodge

Daily itinerary for National Golf Schools: Palencia Golf and Country Club

• 9:00 -12:00: Practice stations for personal lessons with your PGA professional. We will also video tape your swing for a take home teaching analysis.
• 12:00 - 12:45: Lunch
• 12:45 - 3:00pm: On course play with your PGA Professional.
• 3:00 pm: Unlimited Golf

One block away in all directions are St. George Street, Cordova, Hypolita, and Cuna Street. All of which numerous boutiques, restaurants, coffee houses, art galleries, shops, museums, and historic sites are located. Just three blocks away is the scenic bay front where guests can enjoy a tour of the city's Old World charm, either by horse-drawn carriage or by a clipper ship along the shoreline. The evening air is filled with aromas from the neighboring restaurants along with relaxing live music from the neighboring pubs and outdoor restaurants.
